Move Forward With Joel Nichols Communications
Let me put my 30 years of experience in the broadcasting industry to work for you!
Over the years, it has been my pleasure to be part of hundreds of charitable and corporate events all over the area. From a conference room to a ballroom to an arena, I can keep your event moving, engaging, and entertaining.
You've got a great product, service, or cause. Now all you need is a trusted face and voice to tell your story.
Social Media Content
Even with new media platforms, the most important element comes down to four simple words: Tell Me A Story. I can provide content for your social media presence that will make you stand out.
I know the value of education. I graduated with a degree in education from the University of Wisconsin, I'm married to an amazing teacher, and for 25 years I've been an assistant professor of broadcasting. I've also coached many experts in other fields to help them communicate more effectively. I can do that for your company or organization, too.
Looking for someone to best represent your cause, company, or charity? Let me provide engaging and effective information to those who need to know, in person or on the air.
Who Is This Guy?
I had my first broadcasting job under my belt (or was that my diaper?) by age three. My Dad ran the local radio station in our small Wisconsin town. I did little announcements for him. He paid me in Oreos and chocolate milk.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I was a legislative aide before finding myself on a local TV station doing feature stories and weekend weather.
Moving to Kansas City, I became part of the first morning news program in town, FirstNews, alongside the amazing Maria Antonia.
That was the start of a wonderful ride that included hosting a kids' show called JellyBeans, a public affairs program, an interview program, and so many other shows about the great things in Kansas City.
More recently, I co-hosted a mid-morning show called Kansas City Live, a late night show called Nichols at Night, and live features for the early morning news. I had the whole day covered!
I have been able to be a part of the local radio scene and moderator for hundreds of business-related webinars and tele-seminars.
It has also been my honor to work with so many charitable and community-minded people on hundreds of wonderful projects.
My wife, Jessica, and I are lucky to have raised our four children here and feel so fortunate to call Kansas City our home.
